EdiliziAcrobatica S.p.A. was founded in 1994 by former skipper Riccardo Iovino, who had the innovative idea of applying the double safety rope techniques he had learnt when handling sail boats to the construction sector. His first job was to clear a gutter for a friend, who soon became the first in a long series of customers. The company represented a truly innovative revolution in the construction sector, offering a naturally sustainable service and responsible approach centred on the wellbeing, safety and satisfaction of its customers.
Founded on the dream of just one man, Acrobatica now represents the dream of the over 3,000 people who work for the company he founded: “To transform construction culture and practices in Italy and globally.”
Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved in the Group, in the course of these thirty years the Group has traded on the Milan and Paris stock exchanges, and operates in over 175 areas in Europe and the Middle East.
In 2024, EdiliziAcrobatica was rebranded as Acrobatica, a simpler name that can be more easily recognised on the international markets in which the company operates. Bolstered by over 30 years of experience, Acrobatica applies its innovative double safety rope technique to carry out renovation works that not only guarantee customers the highest quality standards, but also offer a series of other, less tangible benefits: total accessibility of external spaces, no obstruction of natural light, clean and orderly construction sites, and the elimination of any risk of intrusion, even during the conduction of works. Acrobatica offers total security, rapid execution, and zero invasiveness.
Acrobatica Restauri is the company division founded to protect and preserve buildings of artistic, cultural and historical interest. The double safety rope technique makes it possible to perform effective but non-invasive interventions on works that require special care and attention. The working method means we don’t affect the integrity of the site and its beauty can still be fully enjoyed, even while the work is being carried out.
Acrobatica Multiservizi is the Acrobatica business unit founded in 2020 that offers cleaning and sanitation, pest and rodent control, landscaping and minor internal maintenance services in the common areas of public, commercial and residential buildings. The Acrobatica Multiservizi team is made up of conscientious, dedicated men and women who are trained to understand and meet the customer’s needs and ensure the utmost professionalism in every job.
